Supporting survivors to navigate justice and protection systems.
Survivors of violence often face complex systems when seeking help. We provide clear, practical legal information to help them understand their rights, seek justice and connect to essential protection services (healthcare, shelter, livelihood and other support services).
Our goal is to ensure survivors do not navigate these systems alone.

Legal information support

Through specialized legal advisors, we provide information to survivors and their families on:

  • Locations and contacts of police stations and key Family Support Unit (FSU) personnel
  • Required documentation across the justice pathway
  • Court procedures and preparation for testimonies
  • Intermediary communication with law enforcement and service providers
  • Support with filing legal documentation and follow‑up

This support enables survivors to:

  • Understand judicial processes and timelines
  • Prepare adequately for court proceedings
  • Understand their rights and flag concerns regarding case handling
  • Legal redress mechanisms when institutional failures occur

Referral support

We maintain referral pathways with trusted service providers to meet survivors’ diverse needs.

How referrals work:
When survivors or families contact us, we assess their needs, confirm service availability with partners, and directly link survivors to appropriate support.
