Rita is a final year law student at University of Makeni in Sierra Leone. She is passionate about safeguarding women and girls. As Executive Assistant at Allies in Development, she performs the following duties,

• Assist with administrative tasks across the organization (updating contact lists, liaising with service providers, managing schedules, correspondence and field trips).
• Support in organization of online and physical meetings, workshops and events
• Contribute to media and public relations efforts.
• Support project management activities (from legal research and grant writing to detailed reporting).
• Assist in maintaining and organizing the organization’s online and offline filing systems.

At the completion of her undergraduate studies, Rita aspires to work fulltime with Allies in Development and pursue a career in activism. In her opinion, the impact she creates in the lives of women and children, brings her the most fulfillment.�
